The clock never stops, the hands keep rushing at their pace, and we need to keep up with them. Not every day brings in excitement and showers of joy, some days we stumble upon disappointments. But, to stay gloomy and embrace melancholy, or just shatter them with our smile, is all that comes from within. In simple words, we are sad when choose to be. So, are sad when we choose to be. So, here we bring to you several reasons to make today count and celebrate each day. Today column brings to you the reasons to celebrate each day!

Today we are celebrating patient safety. The Seventy-second World Health Assembly accepted decision WHA 72.6 ‘Global action on patient safety’ on 25 May 2019. The decree is familiar with patient safety as a global health priority and supports the firm of World Patient Safety Day, to be observed yearly on 17 September.


It is important to rejoice it because the World Patient Safety Day calls for worldwide harmony and concentrated act by all countries and international partners to get better patient safety. Besides, the Day brings jointly patients, families, and caretakers, group of people, wellbeing workers, health care privileged and policy-makers to demonstrate their commitment to patient safety. The theme of the very primary World Patient Safety Day in 2019 was meant at setting up the inheritance of the day. The significance of prioritizing and talks to patient safety internationally by all stakeholders. From 2020 and in the coming years, a new-fangled topic will be chosen each year, raising awareness and encouraging positive transformation all-around patient safety main concern areas.


The theme behind this significant day was a global health concern. To encourage an open statement for gaining knowledge from mistakes and to highlight the significance of patient safety. The slogan for World Patient Safety Day 2019 addressed up for patient safety! And the derivation of the day is decisively beached in the fundamental standard of medicine – primary, to do no damage. The purpose of the very first World Patient Safety Day is to raise global consciousness about patient safety with the theme ‘Patient Safety: worldwide health precedence


We can rejoice this significant day in many ways and methods like during these unparalleled times, an amalgamation of practical and other actions is being intended by WHO to view and celebrate the Day in September. The signature mark of the global campaign is to light up iconic memorials, familiar sights, and public places in orange color, in teamwork with confined establishments. All we can do is spread awareness about this day as much we can through social media and other platforms.

You will meet a lot of people in the middle of your journey; some will help you and some will put their energy to stop you. Try to manage the stress; don’t waste your energy and time on proving something to somebody.
