The clock never stops, the hands keep rushing at their pace, and we need to keep up with them. Not every day brings in excitement and showers of joy, some days we stumble upon disappointments. But, to stay gloomy and embrace melancholy, or just shatter them with our smile, is all that comes from within. In simple words, we are sad when we choose to be. So, here we bring to you several reasons to make today count and celebrate each day. The Today column brings to you the reasons to celebrate each day!
No matter what happens to you, you can always think differently – and more positively – about it. But as it was said above, changing how you look at things is a choice. You can always maintain a negative attitude to the aspects of your life that you are not satisfied with. But, you can also look at these things from a different perspective.
‘If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.’
Along with that, we celebrate ‘Aged Care Employee Day‘, today. Aging is something that people commonly joke about as time flies, and we see our own parents getting older. We used to say “Remember Dad; I’m the one that gets to pick what ‘Home’ you go into. By using the word home, we denote the universal apparition of every independent adult, the adult care facility. While many of us would never think of sending our parents to a literally horrible place, and would always look for a safe and comfortable place for our parents. It is really vital to think about those particular men and women who make these provisions and the facilities available. Aged care employee day reminds us that there is still someone, whose hands we place the care of our matured at a time when we are not there to care for them ourselves.
So, the Whiddon group acknowledged that particular days like international nurses day didn’t cover a comprehensive enough variety to show some support and appreciation to all of the people who are mixed up in the care of the elderly and took some broad steps to modify that. There are almost 80% of people who supply aged care aren’t nurses, doctors, or any other medical professionals. They are kitchen staff; laundry workers and some volunteers who take their precious time out of their day just to make sure that our golden years and that of our beloved are full of soothing and hold up.
If we talk about the nurses being an indispensable component of the aged care industry, things that would merely pulverize to a discontinue without the help of the cleaners, cooks, drivers, hospitality teams, and laundry employees who deal with all the day to day finer points that help things move along easily. All the way through their work these folks also interrelate with our loved ones, forming meaningful relations and friendships that ensure that being alone isn’t one of the experiences they have while in the capability.
How can we celebrate the aged care employee day?
Visit your family in their Aged Care Facility, and make sure to bring some kind of thing to appreciate to the staff there. Whether it’s a plain flowery bunch or care to wrap up that includes stuff to lighten their daylight hours and effortlessness their burden like (hand cream, insoles, and chocolate are forever favorites) it’s an enormous way to demonstrate them to be grateful for what they do. Even if you just discontinue in and make a tip of thanking them, it’s significant to keep in mind that the role these people play is often underappreciated and unrecognized, so it will be enough to make their day.
