State senator of Georgia gets ‘second chance at life’ after surviving COVID-19.

As the Georgia Senator recovers from the virus, he shares his experience with the world

Thompson is back on his feet and is contributing to the fight against the pandemic by donating plasma

After battling the pandemic for more than a month, Georgia state senator Bruce Thompson has defeated the coronavirus and emerged victorious. The senator said, “I got a second chance at life and I want to do whatever I can to provide other people with a second chance as well,” in an interview.

The district 14 representative of Georgia didn’t realize the severity of his condition until he blacked out at Northside Cherokee Hospital on March 16.

The medical staff feared that the senator’s chances were slim, as the Georgia public official displayed severe symptoms but Thompson had faith in God and believed that his healthy lifestyle would help in a quick recovery. Now, a month later, Thompson is back on his feet and is contributing to the fight against the pandemic by donating plasma.

In the hope that we will tackle the pandemic together
