Fake news is contagious. With everything available at a scroll and the transmission of information becoming extremely easy and fast, what we consume and share with others should have a check over it. The consequences of fake news are severe, and here we break one more fake news today.

A twitter user created a twitter storm by his tweet saying that the suspension of issuing Nigerians’ visa was related to the arrest of Ramoni Igbalode, claiming it to be ‘Hushpuppi’ effect. This attracted the attention of many twitter users, and subsequently, the tweet went viral.

Soon, officials denied any such development and assured there was no such law passed or decision made by the administration. An official said, the visas are still issued and renewed, and the claim is a farce.
