Chinatown, Manhattan

New York City has a whole of 9 Chinatowns in its vicinity. There are overall 12 Chinatowns in the state. Out of all of them, Chinatown in Manhattan is the biggest. A neighborhood, famous for accomodating the largest number of Chinese people in the Western part of the planet.

Manhattan’s Chinatown is considered the biggest Chinese enclave outside Asia. Chinatown in Manhattan is a place known for its residential charm and commercial scope, unlike the other towns in the city. The town was created in the late 1800s and as a place for helping refugees. Over the years, it became multidimensional, as a place for immigrants to stay and for white tourists to learn new things. At present, it is said that the complete Old Chinatown has been changed due to various factors.
